One Page Projects - Easy Tag and Pocket Base

Thanks for joining me. Today I am showing how I make one tag and one pocket from one page of coffee stained paper. I have also used one digital page - Love Junk Journals Compendium kit, labels, floral digis and scraps. I hope this is in some way helpful!

SO enjoy your videos and ideas! Thank you for sharing everything with us! Silence that scissor noise with laying a folded washcloth on the white area where you lay the scissors. I deal with headaches off and on and use my crafting to calm me down and relax through the headaches and use the washcloth method for that clanking scissor noise.

I love these quick little projects, somehow it usually gets my mojo going again. These are always neutral enough to go in almost any journal which is a bonus too. Thanks for the gluing tip, certainly makes sense to do it that way. I was fussy cutting tags last night, they are so beautiful, loved her renaissance papers too. Nice pocket/tag combo! TFS🤗 The noise doesn't bother me but if it bothers you, maybe you could lay a pot holder on your mat and lay your scissors on it? I suppose that would take some getting used to. Love your videos!

Thank you Wendy for another great project. I really appreciate your layed back style of instruction! I have been on a quest to find a glue stick that works, doesn't smell weird and that I enjoy using. I'm happy to say I just got some on Amazon, I'm 3 days in using it and so far love it! This is a first for me. It is made in Vietnam and the only English words on them is, blue turns invisible. The brand is Pit. I got a pack of 5 small sticks. As I say I have tried many different glue sticks and this one is working for me. 🙂

Hi Wendy. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I binge watch your channel. LOL I was surprised when you said Darice. Darice was a whole sale store local to me in Ohio. It was located in Strongsville ohio very near Cleveland. A craft store in our area called, "Pat Catan" Carried all of the Darice products. Then, for some unknown reason Michaels purchased Pat Catan to obtain the Darice made products that Pat Catan carried. But, in our area Michaels doesn't sell the Darice products??? I think it was done to increase sales for Michaels. But, for us journal makers...Michaels doesn't carry all the wonderful product that Pat Catan did in the Darice line. It's such a loss for us here in Ohio. :( PS I Love the sound of working with paper, so no worries about that noise. LOL

This is how I make pockets out of tracing paper for storing my work grab desk ephemera! I sometimes have to put a piece of washi on the bottom if I use a glue stick, ugh. Have same issues as you!

Lovely video wendy, What I was wondering is what kind of glue do you use in that little bottle I have bought some from Joann's and they look the same but I can't get anything to flow through very easily if at all. I try fabric tac and tac all I'm at a loss!

The one glue stick you can use and it will never let go anymore: TOMBOW PROFESSIONAL ! No buckling aswell!

Oh, and the little gluebottles are very cheap on Aliexpress . About 10 for 2 Dollar . Dont worry about noise from your scissors or so.....love your videos, very relaxed to look.

Our Michaels doesn’t carry those glue bottles. They have less and less of basic paper art supplies all the time. They say things are available at Michaels online. Very disappointing as they have put other small craft stores where we could buy these items out of business.
