Hi Alessa & Brett, what a fabulous priory! Truly magnificent. The gardens were so attractive and well-kept - I loved the wonderful topiary. The architecture was stunning and the walls were beautifully ornate. This is truly an absolute gem. Thanks for the brilliant narration and video/drone footage. Spectacular - well done! Hello Alessa, sorry we missed your Premiere but we were away on a trip, watching now. What a beautiful Priory, it looks as though it would have been a very grande building, the gardens were beautiful too. Loved hearing the history, the drone footage really showed how lovely the Priory is. Thank you for sharing, take care and have a good week x Julie and Tony x

Wow we have never heard of monks and nuns sharing the same oriory but in different churches. Love the topiary! Your narration is so calming - we think that you should record audio tours. Ineresting that they had libraries then. It's a shame we can't see into the private buildings. They must be stunning inside. Really enjoyable and thanks for sharing! Elaine, Mike, Samuel and Thomas 😍😎👬

Another good location, beautiful looking old Priory huge gardens & grounds . Interesting stories of the past there . Some nice features are still left to see. Chapter House, you could see how it once was nice stone carvings. Shame you couldn't see the library nice floor. The church looked in good condition considering it's age huge arches . Cool some had been converted to houses what a place to live . Thanks for showing us around Pinned on Places Sorry i missed the Premier 👍

Sorry I missed all the premieres yesterday (including my own), Alessa. Given how good the houses next to it look this must have been a very impressive monastery in it's day. Great tour and history again. Andy,

I don't think, that I've ever seen two churches to close to each other. The ceiling inside the church still looks amazing. It's amazing to see, that so many details are still there. The drone footage looks stunning.

Hi Alessa Sorry my original comment disappeared. Make it short... I have not seen such ruins that kept so much beauty within... Well kept...wow garden..who is the gardener.. I can use it...hahha Every details on the walls to tiles..give me goosebumps Brett's flight suggests this is located in the edge of suburbs...I reckon how fortunate to live this close.. Well done both of you. You nailed it again. OMG, I love architecture the most.....Happy Sunday evening!

Saint Mildburh of Wenlock is quite a captivating historical figure, almost like something out of a fantasy game. She embodies the classic trope of a holy character with an impressive title and extraordinary powers. Mildburh, the older sister of Saints Mildrith (or Mildred) of Thanet and Mildgytha of Northumbria, is sometimes seen as representing the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity. Like many female saints, she was believed to have control over water. In one notable story, when she rejected a marriage proposal from a prince of a neighboring kingdom, she miraculously escaped across a river. The river rose so high that the prince could not follow her, thus ensuring her safety.

I'm really enjoying the abbeys/monasteries just as much as the castles. In a way, I'm enjoying the monasteries more, bc they seem more reverent, educational and purposeful... not just dark and swallowed up with fear, intrigue, and murder stories behind castle walls. (Though as a history buff, I soak those up too) I'm glad you mentioned the miracles working abbess. In my own life I've witnessed things unexplainable in natural reasoning... However, ,There is great power in the Name of Christ.... .
