Dmitry Supanko was born in Ukraine, but as a baby his mother took him to the Voronezh region. At the age of 40, Dmitry decided to volunteer for the war and joined the so-called "militia of the LNR". He claims the reason for this decision was the desire to visit his native village and see the grave of his father. Dmitry spoke about his act in an interview with Lubomir Ferens.
