So , do we finally have a unit with a platform that could compete with Corsair's flagship OEM ? ( *Flextronics* ). I follow PSUs for many years(especially Aris & Jonnyguru reviews) , and these news are quite impressive since Flextronics digital platform is considered to be unmatched !!

If the PSU doesn't need to be digital the Superflower leadex titanium 1600 is a good competitor vs the 1600i (although 1600i still wins)

Hello. I am starting a new PC build from scratch and after reading your PSU reviews I decided to go with Corsair AX 1600i. I see that it’s the best PSU even if it’s not ATX 3.1 compliant. I also bought the type 4 sleeved cables and Corsair Premium Gen 5 12VHPWR Power Cable for my 3090 FE and for future 5080. Do you think I will have any issues? The other parts will be bought next month probably when the Ultra 7 or 9 becomes available.

Nope, this PSU is a beast. You won't have any problems. Just make sure the cables you bought are compatible with this PSU. www.corsair.com/us/en/s/psu-cable-compatibility

This power supply cannot be found anywhere in the EC. There are no stores or importers of this brand in Germany. When I made an inquiry in the largest chains for computer components, the answer of all retailers was - who is this manufacturer, we have not heard of him. A power supply only on paper, but in fact can not be found anywhere.

This product was never to go on mass production, but to be sold to another brand to release it. The new Asus thor II 1600 is based on this platform.
