This is the very first time I saw this in German. The music was very close to the original Broadway show in 1981 (Stephan Hanan, and Bonnie Simmons played Growltiger and Griddlebone Respectively)

I think, a small bit of it is on the macavity video but only the part after the applause. Who played Munkustrap in this show? He doesn't sound like the usual actor in 1988, and which cats played the siamese in the vienna production? And in the scene where Macavity acts like Old deuteronimy, did they use two actors for Macavity? Sorry, but these were questions I asked myself for years now. Hope you're doing well!

The actor playing Munkustrap is Matthew Jessner. Siamese (Cassandra) was either Laura Edmonds or possibly Laure Balon. There was another American ballet dancer who did Cassandra with me but I can’t recall her name.

They did not use two different dancers for Macavity - I believe he did both Macavity and disguise as Old Deut.

Vienna was the 3rd Production ever of Cats after London and Broadway. They changed the Ballad into Tepida Notte on Broadway and every other production since then. So the Ballad was only shown in London.

Soweit ich weiss, war in Wien immer die Gumbiekatze auch Griddlebone. Hier ist es auf jeden Fall nicht Pia.

no , in this production Gumbiecat played Girddlebone but Pia was understudy for gumbiecat so sometimes she would play griddlebone
