Wenwu Tribute

After Jojo's Megamix, let's continue with the program. Today we have after a long time (Escudendo Infinity Ultron), a new member of the MCU. I admit that since Agatha I haven't seen any particularly noteworthy villains, particularly Karli and Taskmaster. And of course I can't take a video of Kang yet. But Wenwu was quite a noteworthy villain, a great improvement on Iron Man 3's fake Mandarin. Of course he has some flaws, but I can be satisfied overall. Obviously the next MCU villains we will face will be the ones from No way Home, and for those I am very excited! Anyway I hope you enjoy this video and see you at Christmas to bring some madness to the world!

“I have to save her. She’s calling to me.” Great tribute to the background nemesis of Iron Man and the nemesis father of Shang-Chi, Arkham! This was an interesting take on the Mandarin and his ten rings, and way more tragic than the comics version. Can’t wait to see who’s next!

This version of Mandarin is amazing and is a interesting character. I liked the Iron man armored adventure version than the MCU. Wished the Ten rings were like in comics with different powers like the infinity stones. If the MCU version was like armored adventure version I’m positive he would have been one of the best MCU Villains like thanos and kilmonger in my opinion. Great Tribute for Wenwu and can’t wait for the next one. Great job as always👍

Son, it's time for you to take your place by my side" Great job. Wenwu was one of the good moments of this film. He not one of the best villain of mcu in my opinion but he was really good character but it just not that mandarin that I waiting to see, I want to see in this film a really dangerous person who has connections throughout the criminal world, a warrior and wise and cunning man and I still would like to see a battle between two archenemies, namely stark and mandarin but I undertstand that we will never see this battle for understantable reasons. And I glad that you not make tributes for karli and "fake" taskmaster, I also think that karli was really strange and weird character who was suppoused to be a good character I mean with understandable motives, but instead she just suffered shit and killed innocent people, and taskmaster just a bad character because I can name's he (or she) a villain because she just brainwashed if taskmaster was villain woman I would be a little indignant, but still I would not be so indignant because is just a bad version of winter soldier.

I haven’t watched this movie yet but I still really enjoyed the video. And from what I know about this Mandarin, he does seem like a big improvement on the one in Iron Man 3 although that obviously isn’t very difficult. Good job and I am very curious on what you have in store for us on Christmas

That was a very good video. I actually decided to watch Shang-Chi to get the context behind it, and Wenwu was honestly a very compelling character. The video really captures his love for his family and how he's trying to do the things he does for them. Overall well done!

Finally got around to watch Shang Chi and I really enjoyed the movie as well as Wenwu. He was not only a major step up from what we got from Iron Man 3 but on his own he is a really interesting villain. This was a great tribute for him and I love the timing around 3:10 alot.

The actor playing this version of Mandarin seems pretty good. All though contary to popular belief, I think the Mandarin twist in IM3 was an okay idea in concept but they did it with the wrong villain. That and I found Kinglsey's acting as Trevor to be pretty impressive. With that said, I recently read that the writers of Shang Chi had a hard time writing Mandarin which isn't a good sign. That and just screw the MCU for what they did. They basically turned Iron Man's arch enemy who is supposed to be Mandarin and turned it into Thanos. The fact that the MCU killed off Tony before he fought Mandarin while also having the latter play a role in the former's origin is just a load of garbage. That's like if Burton Batman had Joker kill Bruce's parents and then have Batman not kill him in the movie, then Batman dies in some random crossover event(they might as well be called that), and then Joker fights the Question in a Question movie. If DC did something like this, they would be lambasted to hell and back but since the MCU did it, no one cares, and it annoys the piss out of me. This is why I won't watch Shang Chi. That and there are probably hundreds of martial arts movies I am better off watching. Also, Mandarin's costumes reminds me of Shang Tsung in the recent Mortal Kombat movie and that movie is the last thing I want to be reminded of.

I get it. An adaptation needs to make changes but a little bloody comic accuracy wouldn't kill the bloody mcu! Ten rings on each finger not 10 bloody stupid arm bands! I shouldn't be surprised. MCU has discarded the comics and do not bloody care about the comic book fans. They rather cater to the mainstream or SJW idiots who do not even watch their films. Sorry. Good tribute Arkham.

Explain how finger rings would work in a martial art movie when the using the traditional iron rings fighting style make more sense for fighting Not to mention that accuracy with adaptation with character like mandarin who has history in comic of being impossible for most writers to write because they have no idea how to modernize him or even try to is tricky subject to even reach, (decade apart of appearance in iron man comics proves this)

Exactly! They already had a good initial concept with the Ten Rings organization (since Comics-Mandarin never had an established, named organization of his own, unlike HYDRA, AIM or The Hand). It was just a little work needed to make him really epic. But NO! Cause making "Chinese Villain vs. American Hero" is *gasp* *_CoNTrOVerSIAL_* and injures the Chinese (or rather, the Party of China-Commies') fucking ego.
