The driving experience is amazing. This is my 4th Tesla and it is head and shoulders above the rest. The vehicle is so over the top is just makes me smile. It's not perfect but it's amazing.

I love GMC, I think the Hummer and Denali EV are great vehicles but extremely overpriced. I don't trust GM as they always tend to discontinue vehicles that have low sales. And the fact they cannot answer a simple question as to how much would it cost to replace their batteries is insane to me.

Yeah they can definitely be a scare factor in a purchase. Not knowing what something would cost to fix nor know if parts will be available later on in life. Good points for sure.

Hummer looks awesome. My biggest concern would be safety. As is typical Tesla, the Cybertruck has a 5-star rating, but the Hummer has no rating yet, and it sounds like the NHTSA is having trouble even testing it due to its weight. Way to go dad, awesome getting one-on-one time with the kids. We try to do the same with our grand kids. You really get to see their personalities shine through.

Great points! Safety is always a top priority, and Tesla’s 5-star ratings definitely set a high standard. The weight of the Hummer is an interesting factor-I’ll be curious to see how it holds up once official testing is completed. Hopefully, it lives up to expectations, but it’s always good to keep an eye on the data. As for the one-on-one time, I couldn’t agree more. It’s such a joy to see their personalities come to life.Those moments create memories that last a lifetime, for both them and us. It’s awesome that you do the same with your grandkids-it really makes a difference!

"This is enough space for anybody to sit in without feeling squished", says the small girl 😆 But seriously, I've owned the 2024 Hummer EV SUV for 7 months and I can attest that it's spacious, very fun to drive and you NEVER have to worry about merging with traffic anymore (or if you're in the wrong lane), you can very quickly get in front of anyone. They don't get mad because you won't even slow them down. It's a tank but it's dang FAST!

Does the Hummer have stear by wire? I heard Tesla is coming out with an update that will increase the back tire's degree of turning to be able to crab walk as well. But the killer feature in the CT is the FSD.

Great question, I do believe it is also steer by wire. I could see Tesla coming out with an update that allows for it to work or happen. Maybe call it moon walking 🤷🏻‍♂️lol I like that. Moon walk mode.

The charging speed of the Hummer EV when using public chargers is a concern, unless there are plenty of fast-charging options available.

It is a concern for sure! They can charge on the Tesla network now. But the range and durability I think is unmatched to Tesla.

Hummer will cost a lot more in many ways, not just efficiency, but insurance, tires, maintenence, trailer, reselling the cybertruck, etc.

Oh absolutely agree. To be honest there to different platforms in many ways. Tesla just has it figured out IMO. Nothing touches the Tesla network. Another thing we don’t have is time to deal with the swapping etc as well. We are still team cyber truck… for now anyway

@WePlusThreee it is a nice looking vehicle, but it has different uses. At the end of the day, what you use it for and what you want are all that matter. Other people's opinions can only help with that decision by bringing to light or reminding you of things you might have forgotten or didn't think about. The width of the hummer makes the already difficult part of parking in small spots with the cybertruck even more difficult. I'm still waiting for the summon feature to make this much easier.

@ we are happy with the cyber truck. Also Happy to be apart of the being different movement as well. We can’t wait for summon will be making a video as soon as we get that feature.

Yeah those hummer ev are so nice but questionable reliability, they are having such a hard time selling them right now that the discounts are pretty decent. we are flirting with the idea of towing an ev behind our 2000 Foretravel but will probably go with the new maverick awd hybrid

Wish we could flat tow an EV. Trailer is cool but flat tow is fast and easy. Your right about the deals and incentives right now, they are pretty wild and I don’t blame the flirt lol, I didn’t know Maverick had a hybrid. I heard those are awesome for flat tow.

Yeah i would love to flat tow an ev, but a trailer definitely had some time and hassle to a travel day, the new 2025 awd hybrid should be flat towable. 2024 and older were only flat towable in fwd hybrid.

If I’m not mistaken I think the hummer can charge faster than the cybertruck. I just looked it up but definitely going to look into it. We never spend longer than 15 min at a super charger. Also depends on driving habits etc too.

@@timr9082 too bad the CT is so range limited with no sign of range extender battery on horizon. SC network is a big part of the decision. Never watched this channel before, but if they’re often towing, I would imagine the CT is not the best choice just based on range alone.

I'm in St George and I have seen about five cyber trucks and I don't like them man. I love SpaceX and Tesla and all of that but dude the Hummer looks so much better than that stainless washing machine LOL #romanatwood
