This is an absolutely amazing track. The dedication you guys have for this hobby is incredible! It's not just the track itself with is insanely well designed, but the diorama surrounding it as well. The hills and rock formations are perfectly casted and really well made. The grass and the other aspects are also spot on! This was my DREAM! When I was in the hospital over 5+ years back with Pneumonia, I had my PS Vita and my smartphone📱to keep me from going nuts...lol. I rediscovered my love of Die-Cast racing🏁🏎🏎 and collecting Die-Cast cars as well. I also collect Marvel Legends action figures as well as Star Wars Black Series figures. So between the action figure reviews, the Die-Cast reviews, and the Die-Cast racing, I found some ways to entertain myself! Trust me 10-14 days in ICU and in a normal 🏥🏨🏥 hospital 🏥 room suckks! Anyway after my 2nd and subsequent 3rd and 4th Hospitalizations 🌫🏥🌫 I started thinking about how fun it could be to build a massive track. I also learned how much scalpers rip people off. But anyway, I set my mind up on doing just that, building a track, a huge track. Now I had gotten a Hot Wheels Super 6-Lane Raceway. I also had gotten a older Hot Wheels 4-Lane Raceway. I later found a old Sizzlers Race track.🏁 Sadly the high banked turns weren't in great shape, and the straightway pieces had busted plastic where the connectors latch up. My first attempt sucked. However my Hot Wheels hunting was going great. I had forgotten how fun it was to go "Hunting" for Die-Cast cars. SADLY, my illnesses stacked up. I ended up having Double Pneumonia, I coughed so hard I somehow broke two ribs. I ended up being diagnosed with emphysema. So my "dream" of this crashed and burned. I had even had a idea setup where people could race on the scale ¼mile Raceway. You could bring your own car or I'd have brand new cars on pegs. So entry's were $1.00. Buy a new car for a $1.00 or BYO. Now the BYO had it's own division. After the tournament ended the first place winner would win🏆 3 Die-Cast cars for 1st. 2 Die-Cast cars for 2nd, and 3rd place got 1 car. It was just a foolish dream I suppose. I wanted to try and get a racing experience for people here. As I said it didn't happen. I'm still kickin', but my Mom also had this disease and it's not a fun ending. After the whole Covid-19 pandemic happened, our stores inventories were sporadic at best. Especially the toy departments. Die-Cast cars weren't a priority considering they are only $1.00, and their profit line is minimal. So those years were slim pickings. But now? It's been like hunting for Bigfoot. You hear about a sighting, or a glimmer of Bigfoot/Hot Wheels. But when you get there nothing! Just empty pegs. Now even collecting is impossible. Sorry for the rant, but we've been trying "beat" the scalpers but they outnumber us 20-1. Seeing these races inspires me. I still hope to possibly build that track and 🏁race🏁again. ❓❓ Anyways 5/5 flags🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁 5/5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A+, 100%, 10/10! 👍👍👍👍👍 ! Great video, perfectly made track and AWESOME RACING! PERFECTLY DONE!

@ChristianTravelers2 жыл бұрын
Love your racing but in that first lap of the first group when all cars crashed out, they all should have received an "0". Why a "do-over?" Logically, shouldn't everyone who crashes singly, doubly or triply get a "do-over then?" Why just when all crashout? This could have big ramifications as, for instance, the polesitter and other front row racer should forfeit that race advantage because of their crash. Also, if these four aren't racing with each other at all tracks or if the top 4 in points go on to the final 3 races, then points for all 16 would be skewed because of the "do-over." Mark would still have been the group winner with 10 (+1 for group win), Derek & John would have 8 points and Mopar Mac would have 6.
@weracethings2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the feedback! So the standard for me is that someone must cross the finish line to complete a race. When no one does, the race is not completed, so its a reset. Everyone is afforded this reset if and when it occurs. I understand your logic though. For me, the ramifications of a 0 is huge though, especially in a series where points accumulate. This group would essentially be out 11 pts if I keep the quad DNF, and that makes them less competitive with the rest of the field when competing for the championship. I think of each 'lap' as a Race though. A Beginning and an End. so it isn't really 4 'laps' in a group its 4 races. And each Race needs to finish. So only way to finish is crossing the finish line. What do you think?
@ChristianTravelers2 жыл бұрын
@@weracethings agree that the ramifications of a "0" are huge. that's why it seems that, for instance, Group 2 is arbitrarily penalized because they didn't have a "quad DNF." (good name for it!) simple rule: crashout, get a "0". it also seems that 4 "laps" = a "group race" better than 4 "races" = a "group ?". "laps" typically means part of a "race" (other than drag racing)
@weracethings2 жыл бұрын
I disagree with the usage of the word "penalized". I wouldn't call it a disadvantage either because the rules are set prior and apply to everyone. I get your points, it mostly comes down to preference though. Hit me up on Facebook if you want to talk more about it, I enjoy this conversation.
@richardmorgan92732 жыл бұрын
Some tracks restart a quad DNF, some don't - as long as the rules are posted before the event starts (as I think they were) I'm fine either way.

Hi Luke, right now the only mail in series I have available is the Contender Series. For Contender the standards are high in your customs quality and I make sure all new drivers have experience prior to getting setup with a race. I will have other tournaments through out the year, and driver sign ups. The best way to stay informed is to always check back on the Community tab. If you check out my Picks4Pinks videos, I'll be doing one of those soon as well. the P4P are driver sign ups, and I usually have the signups in a video, then you would just comment on that video. @weracethings2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure it was an alignment problem. Coming out of turn 6 there are a few things that can cause that. Hitting the wall, the very slight differences in the transition from straight piece to straight piece. and then the transition to the coroplast. If they hit the slick coroplast just a little sideways and they can go sliding easily. It's an interesting stretch of track actually, a lot can go wrong there at the end. But ya Ryan with some tough luck there.

"53 cars were sent in from around the world, but only the top 16 qualified". So technically I only had 4 international cars for this tournament, 3 from different locations in Canada, and 1 from Scotland. The rest were all from the states, different locations from me. The 4 international didn't qualify though. We will see 2 of them in the DNQ tournament though. Both drivers who previously competed in the Contender Series Opener if your interested. Other than that, how did you like the races?
@bentobarreirinhas57022 жыл бұрын
@@weracethings The track is nice, the races went well, the coments could be more on the actual situation, sometimes it seems the comments focus to much on a specific car, forgetting the other situations, or that the cameras and review were not used accurately, that is the only point, besides international cars, that I feel realy needs improvement
@weracethings2 жыл бұрын
Commentary I think will get better with time, its still new to me. I could spend more time on it, but my current workflow I have to settle and move on to keep up with releases.
