I had a 69 Chevy nova. I did a turbo 5.3 ls swap in mine. Rods you could go with some lsa rods as built for boost and cheaper option with some upgraded arp rod bolts and some forged pistons. Transmission I had a built manual shifting th400 but if want extra gear and strength 4l80e for auto be best bet or if want manual then t56. Rear end I had ford 9 inch and also calvert racing with caltrac suspension set up on mine was great for street and strip racing.

Also look up global west performance they do all suspension stuff. I used their delrin body mounts you should get them for it when you put the front subframe back in. Get in touch with them and they will help you out.

Also engine mounts dirty dingo I had with just freshened up steering links. And discs all round on manual wilwood master cylinder
