Were Hevisaurus Snubbed For Eurovision?

Oof. That would have really put them on the spotlight. Nowadays, Hevisaurus seems reduced to a clickbaity curiosity that grabs the attention of a few every now and then, eliciting the usual "We only had Barney" comparison that I've seen used time and time again. Glad to see a new vid from you, man!

I have seen Blind Channel at Wacken and they were amazing. Of course I watched Heavy Saurus multiple times and they were also at Wacken in 2018. It's a surpize that they didn't jump on the chance, would have been something different. After all, GWAR is also a band that exists, bands in full costume are something that is rare and thus it would stand out.

I think Hevisaurus got robed for that opportunity. Like they are amazing and I’d love to see them represent their country. Like how is it possible that Lordi get to represent Finland with all the extravagant make up and costumes but to win that comp. I recon they deserve it. And what? They won’t let a bunch of dinosaurs enter a comp because why? Is it because there are a heavy metal band of people dressed as dinosaurs? And Denmark had furries competing for them. It’s against the rules of Eurovision for me to back Australia as you are not allowed to vote for your own country. Not back it but Finland needs to wow me even more in that comp as they replaced a no name over heavisaurus.

I just had a look, for some reason it's only available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, that's very unusual, No idea why, I'll pass a message on.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Hevisaurus should not be as good as they are. Take out the kids angle, and they are pretty damn great Hard Rock/Power Metal band. Don't think they'd translate well here in the States though.
