literally ofc they were lmao. but it was wrong of both of them - rachel for always saying they weren't when even she originally said they were, and ross for sleeping with someone else so soon. and OBVIOUSLY he has the right to do that, but if he really cared about Rachel's feelings and loved her as much as he said, it was really insensitive of him to sleep with the other girl, even with the heartbreak Remember this is just my opinion, of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions lol

They were on a break. I do side more Ross because I understood how Carol leaving him for someone else messed him up emotionally. A lot of people like to claim one side as being in the wrong but honestly Ross shouldn't have slept with another women (though he was drunk and vulnerable) and Rachel should have more clear about taking a break from Ross and shouldn't agreed for Mark to stay in the apartment with her while they were on a break.
