Thanks for these great recs! Another great shifter series is the Kate Daniels books by Ilona Andrews, the first is Magic Bites. The MMC is a lion shifter and there are many other kinds of shifters in the story. Love shifter romances especially this time of year!!

I highly recommend the Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series and the companion series to it, Alpha and Omega. I also love Molly Harper's Naked Werewolf series. The Naked Werewolf series is romance and humor.

Regally Bitten was my favorite from the blood alliance series. I absolutely devoured it. This year I've been on a wolf shifter binge for some reason so i have so many recs Specifically i would suggest The Midnight pack series by L Ann And then The Hidden of Vrohkaria series by Kelly Cove if u want dark fantasy with true enemies to lovers and high emotions! Ugh it's so amazing. Highly recommend!

Sam Quinn series by Seana Kelly (this one has so many supernaturals, vampires and shifters are just the start) Jacky Leon series by K.N.Banet Everly Abbott by K.N.Banet (these two are in the same world but the focus in Jacky is shifter and in Everly is vampire) Half-moon Hollow series by Molly Harper (this is a complete series; it’s more of a lighter humorous series that’s mostly vampire but has shifter and whitch as well) Happy reading everyone! Thanks for the great video.

Have you read NOX by Adrienne Wilder? Im not sure if is was just OK or a master piece LOL but i thoroughly recommend giving it a read. it is a fascinating take on shifters. Have you read Hell and High Water by Charlie Cochet? It is a 10 book MM detective series (T.H.I.R.D.S) but hear me out it is such a fun read with characters that hold a special place in your heart. It also has a unique take on shifters. Brilliant works. The series has 4 couples.

Shifter Stuff (NOT YA): The Wolf's Hour by Robert R. McCammon (an oldie but goodie stand-alone, mostly takes place during revolutionary Russia and WWII); Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton (vampires and shifters, necromancy, lots and lots of sex); The Others series by Anne Bishop (sort of alternative evolutionary Earth history with the Others of the Wilds in control of the world and humans existing on sufferance, curiosity, and desire for human-created objects by the Others; the world includes blood prophets, vampires, shifters, personified weather and seasonal elements, mysterious and sometimes malevolent Others); The Pride series by Shelley Laurenston, with Honey Badger continuation series (these series are hilarious; much of the humor comes from bear shifters, wolf shifters, cat shifters, etc. acting like their animals while in human form; for example male lion shifters are typically very vain about their manes).

Rabid shows up as number 5 in a series with other authors. Can it be read as a standalone?

All the books are standalones by different authors. The authors got together to raise money for something but yes all the books can be read separately
