This is among the greatest and most atmospheric of all your musical works in my eyes. I thought it couldn't get any better after Chi no Namida but this proves the mastery of fusing the setting and atmosphere of classic videogames with the sound of black metal. Wouldn't mind more of this in the future!

Tried for some 20 years to beat it on the NES and finally beat it last year on Nintendo Switch Online over three lunch breaks. Amazing what saving and rewinding does to Nintendo-hard games. If you like 8-bit side-scrolling shooters that are the bane of your waking life, I recommend giving it a try. And even if not, check out its OST.
