nice video, but at 8:50, the name in WES application should be as same as the passport with an expanded surname and not like degree certificates with only initials. you also need to attach passport copy and letter stating that initial not expanded in degree certificate but expanded in the passport and you are the same person with both names with proof attached. or else you need to do the whole process all over again

My main issue is my college is saveetha Engineering College affiliated by Anna University. which should be mentioned for the name of the university/institution? Heard that WES have changed the process which states we don't want to courier the documents any more. Uploading of clear degree certificate and documents from the university is sufficient. Is it so! We don't need to courier the documents to WES!!!

Hi. You have you mention the year you completed. That is 2020. They will go through your transcripts and provide the equivalency report.

My last name is expanded in my passport. But In Academic certificate, it is just initials as mentioned in below example. Passport Name: Vignesh Annamalai Karthikeyan Academic certificate Name : Vignesh A K Actually, I don't have different name but it's just that my last name is not expanded in my academic certificate, instead only initial is present as stated above. do I need to enclose name affidavit from Indian consulate or something else to indicate Vignesh A K is same person as Vignesh Annamalai Karthikeyan along with my passport copy before sending it to WES . Some of them mentioned this will not cause any problem and enclosing passport copy would be sufficient but i just wanted to double confirm before applying in WES.

If you studies Masters in the UK, it’s enough to evaluate the masters degree.

Name while adding the credentials should be as per the degree certificate. You don’t have to evaluate your UG separately, but need to add the credentials.

I don’t think there’s a expiration for the WES account. It’s better to send the documents within a reasonable amount of time (within say 6 months)

Hi Abi, Once we done with WES registration and then we have apply for transcripts in which we have completed the education. My query is there any time limit to apply the transcripts once we have submitted the WES application, because for Madras university there is no online option to submit the transcripts If am not wrong, Kindly advise.

Flawless Explanation. I have a question - Is it necessary to initiate the Canadian PR application before applying for WES? If not, assuming I don't intend to apply Canada PR for another 5 years - If WES sends the document to Canadian Immigration database before this period, how long Canadian Immigration hold that document WES sent on my behalf in their database?

It’s not necessary to initiate the PR process as getting you WES report is one the first thing you need to do. All ECA reports are valid for 5 years and you can apply before it’s expires. Remember, the report has to be valid throughout the processing of your application so it’s better to apply between 3 to 4 years max
