Great to see a younger generation who still respect and appreciate the one and only Wes Montgomery.

Wow... you even use your thumb to get the Wes Montgomery sound. That's not easy to do. The story goes that Wes used his thumb because he lived in an apartment building and he didn't want to disturb his neighbors. So he had to keep the volume down on his amp and play softly with his thumb... but that turned into his unique sound and added a great sound to his use of octaves... which you, young lady have also mastered. Bravo.

I'm a fan of Dominyka, and love her delicate playing on ballads such as this. Very mature. But, Wes didn't write it - Music by Henry Mancini and lyrics by Johnny Mercer. A top-shelf duo! I would kindly suggest that she stands and plays. Move around. And get a more "Jazz" like wardrobe. I don't normally comment on these sorts of things, but I believe she can go very far as an artist with the right look and stage presence. I play guitar - and have a GB-10, but not the hands she has. It's wonderful to see so many young people playing Jazz!!!! Glad to shear a keyboard solo. How about some trading measures? More interplay between all the musicians. If you're going to do Wes, you need to have some octave solo lines, to pay homage... Bravo! FrancescoB - The Jazz Whistler... and a whole lot more! www.youtube.com/@user-francescob
