@@kamoringrant8351lol all good yeah the render times can be crazy based on your pc specs. I have a i9 with a 4090 and about 96 gigs of ram. But yeah depending on your export quality settings you’re gonna be waiting my g. What I do is wait till the end of the day leave it to render and tomorrow morning it ready to go lol.

@@weshootfilms ima defintely upgrade once the 5090 comes out and whatever dope processor comes out later on next year i also have one more question for you og when i export the project and drag it to adobe after effects its super choppy and slow like the frame rate changed even after i exported it from after effects
@TomJFlynn3 ай бұрын
@weshootfilms I love this idea but a lot of times there are foreground objects passing in front of my footage plate in unreal. How would you go about that? Would you do a third render in unreal where you only render out the objects that pass in front with an alpha then composite those as a top layer in after effects? Curious if you’ve tried this out with any success
@christianmatts_bk9 ай бұрын
thank you for the tutorial. re your speed issue in after effects - you rendered the seq from ue at 60fps. in the video it shows your ae comp is 30fps, I suspect it loaded the img seq at 30 fps not 60 fps, so its playing at half speed. in the project window you can right click interpret footage and set the playback to 60fps. in after effects-preferences - import ---- you can change the default frame rate img seq are imported. i would also suggest changing the name of your clips in the comps, if you change the names in the project window and clips go offline, it can be more difficult to know what file you are looking for since the ae file name is diff from what it is linking to.
@weshootfilms9 ай бұрын
You must mean Davinci resolve because in after effects I render out 60fps and in Davinci I change the speed to 60fps because my timeline is at 24fps. I def appreciate your advise and appreciate your support.
@christianmatts_bk9 ай бұрын
@@weshootfilms you exported from unreal engine img seq at 60 fps that you brought into ae timeline that was 30fps. that you put a speed change on them to correct playback - was talking about those.

You don’t need to delete assets etc. You can use layers to separate assets and then render passes there are lot of tutorials about it. Btw it would be great if you make tutorial how you match lights in greenscreen and shot
@weshootfilms11 ай бұрын
Yes, I know you can separate each asset that’s the point I didn’t want to separate each asset. I just wanted to get rid of it all without doing all the separation work but thank you. I appreciate your comment and as far as the tutorial for green screen lighting. I’ll definitely do something.

I’m not really a Blender user I do use it but usually just to either import a model and export it to a odj or a fbx file. Its not really in my workflow to much I find blender to be an amazing tool but don’t really like the learning curve lol I use it as needed lol.
