Wesker's so OP that he doesnt need health items. But, being Wesker, I wished that the developers would've added an L1 downed enemy and escape mechanic. When enemies are downed and twitching, he can do Chikyo Chagi and when choked he can easily escape because, well, he's freaking Wesker!

Playing Wesker feels a bit like playing RE6 mercenaries mode now, but with a bigger window for counters, the overpowered mayhem mode, and without the necessity to weaken your enemies first with bullets. A RE6 mercenaries easy mode.

Have you noticed that he doesn't use herb or spray. Non of the enemies drop healing item. Maybe it has some sort of conflicts with the virus that Wesker uses thats why he can't take herbs

You can heal if you find any of the default herbs or sprays of every map, i personally used to think that it was for balancing the character, you know, parry every move but if you fail you get punished with low healing, but your theory makes a bit of sense, at least for some lore wise aspect of the gameplay
