Wesker didn't take Krauser to save him, he took him to have a sample of the plaga since Krauser has a uniquely dominant strand of the plaga in his body. Even without the amber, he still has the powerful plaga he needs. This is similar to why he took Steve's body in Code Veronica after he couldn't get a pure sample of the T-Veronica from Alexia.

Yeah hence the reason why Wesker wasn't concerned when Ada betrayed Him and failed to deliver the Amber He wanted, He was able to retrieve a Dominant Plaga Sample from Krauser's corpse

@@texasgent4694 While that is true, but it is also possible that he did save Krauser as Saddler's was even more powerful as all the plaga obey Saddler while The chieftain, Salazar, Krauser had dominate plaga which allowed them to use the powers of the plaga and not the plaga control them. So why choose Krauser and not Saddler? Both are killed

No its actually a sample of adas blood : remember at the beginning of separate ways,pesanta (U3) infected ada,and thts hw wesker got his hand on a subordinate plaga,while the dominant one,one thts been enhanced by the amber,thru krausers body

Ada from PS2 gave amber to wesker while in remake she decide not to but still cant change the outcome 😢
