The Gospel is you do live up to a holy God. You ask how??? He makes you pleasing to himself according to the book of Isaiah and Jeremiah. Jesus is the personification of the covenant. He came to show you that God was in you. The Gospel is not Jesus dying on a cross. The Gospel/good news is that God gave you a new covenant that he will perform by himself for you. You are the temple of God made without stones.

I’m Muslim by birth but always felt connection to Christianity. I even accepted Jesus as my saviour once but church ran me off and I stayed confused and couldn’t free myself of negative effect of islam’s god. tried eastern religions. But I always felt heaviness in my heart .So, I’ve been trying to find my way back to Jesus . I think you did it for me tonight. It started by ur interview with Billy and Now, it’s finished . I am an older girl. In my Christian journey, Workers for the faith like, Tim Keller, R C Sproul, David Pawson, D.A Carson, Dr. Michael Heiser were so instrumental in my faith journey. They are all now dead and D.A Carson is living with Parkinsons. Then KZbin's algorithm somehow sent Wes Huff my way and my thought was " The Lord of the Harvest has His Workers, His mission is always moving forward and He will build His Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail" Mr. Huff, may our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ continue to use you, guide you, and bless you as you do the work of His Kingdom. May you continue to use your extraordinary gift of intelligence and communication to spread the gosepl and bring the light into the darkness. God bless you sir! @@DookieDoomnowhere did he say that. He just gave you the gist of what is the message of the gospel. It is the grace of God. What you are after is Sanctification. Only those who truly accept Christ will be sanctified, by the power of the Holy spirit, they will now strive to live a holy life but in the eyes of God through the sacrifice of Christ, they are already perfect or holy. Therefore, you are wrong that the redeem do not strive for improvement or perfection, rather it is a by product or the visible fruit of the salvation. If you are seeing self professing Christian that are not bearing fruits, then they are not true redeemed, as Christ said, "You will know them by their fruit" .

It was horrible. The challenge will come when Wes is willing to debate what the actual Gospel is? Based on what he explained the gospel is on this podcast, he left a big peace of the story out. If what Wes was saying was the truth, then Jesus HIMSELF would not have told us that some who call him Lord would NOT realize heaven.....because they didn't do as he commanded them to do. @@kamarwashington ....I'm assuming you meant Eph 2:8-10....."For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God".......this does not answer my question though. How does faith in one man's experience here save us? It can't. The faith we must have is in the truth of his teachings....his NARROW PATH that few will find. His narrow path is LOVE....for ALL. Love embodied as a vibrational frequency, and not just a verb. And then forgiveness, as we hope to be forgiven, and non-judgment, because all are in seperation from God from their first moment in this physical world. Only by following HIS PATH can we KNOW that we are one with our creator, and that heaven is already here. Heaven is where God is, and Jesus tells us that if we believe and do as he taught us, then God is inside of us.

@billdaley3476 no. Many in churches are not given the explanation of the true Gospel. They're given a watered down version in hope that they'll just get saved. But leaving out key points... confuses people and that makes it hard to understand... so they embrace a false Gospel and dont get saved. They feel confused since the dots aren't connected. Or outright aren't even told about God's holiness and how we fall short. On top of that, they don't understand the latter since no one explained it. It's assumed if you are in church you grasp it already. It's a modern failing of preachers - and also of church goers, who don't ask questions in Sunday School either cuz they dont go or don't want to look dumb in class so they don't ask.

@BrigxelBiz Please explain how Christianity says : Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday morning. When Matthew 12 : 40 says : " the Son of Man ( clearly meaning, Jesus) will be in the depths of the earth for 3 - full - days and 3 - days. Speaking in reality, not using blind faith. The math does not work. Jesus was dead and buried on Friday which includes one - night. Sat. Includes one - day and night in the tomb followed by being raised Sun. for one -morning. Here is one - clear contradiction along with many more Christians ignore.
@BrigxelBiz
@BrigxelBiz 9 күн бұрын
@@billdaley3476 First, understand that the Bible is not specific on when Jesus rose from the grave, it only tells us when the tomb was found empty and next, the Jews had weekly Sabbaths and another Sabbath associated with the feast of unleavened bread which can fall within the week (Leviticus 23:5-8). John calls it a special Sabbath (John 19:31) implying that it was different from the normal weekly Sabbaths which usually starts from Friday evenings. Also, Jesus was crucified before the Sabbath (Mark 15:42). Now, with the above in mind, there are different possibilities here, Jesus could have been crucified on a Wednesday and if we count the days and nights, we will arrive at 3 days and 3 nights only if we assume that he was resurrected just before the sun went down on Saturday evening and this is logical as I hinted earlier that the Bible does not mention when he rose exactly so it would make sense for the women to see the tomb empty Sunday morning. There's another possibility; which would have Jesus crucified on a Thursday before the Sabbath on Friday. Either way, there are no contradictions especially if you understand how the Jews interpret and count their days and nights with regards to observing the Sabbath Finally, notice how there is nowhere in the gospels where the Jews; Pharisees and Saduccess brought up this objection to attack the apostles, implying that 2000yrs ago, they understood this.

First, understand the following: 📍The Bible is not clear on the exact time Jesus resurrected but tells us when the tomb was found empty (Mark 16:1-4) 📍But it tells us when his crucifixion started( Mark 15:25) 📍It also tells us when he died (Mark 15:34) 📍The Jews observe a weekly sabbath and another sabbath associated with the feast of unleavened bread which can fall within the week (Leviticus 23:5-9) 📍 Jesus was crucified before the sabbath (mark 15:42) 📍 John calls this sabbath a "special "sabbath (John 19:31) Now, putting all of this together, there are two possibilities; First, it is possible that Jesus was arrested Tuesday evening after praying on mount Olive (Mark14:29) and on a Wednesday morning, he was delivered to pilate (Mark 15:1) and crucified around 9 in the morning, but died around 3 in the afternoon as hinted earlier. So he died on a Wednesday before the special sabbath on Thursday and after this special sabbath, the next day was a Friday which was the beginning of the weekly sabbath and this makes sense because in Luke 23:55-56, the Bible records that the women that came with Jesus from Galilee who wanted to embalm him could not, because the evening of that Friday started the weekly sabbath and they had to rest because no work was allowed on a Sabbath dayIf you count properly from Wednesday, you will get 3 days and 3 nights assuming he resurrected before the sun went down on Saturday evening but nobody probably noticed until next morning when the women who came to embalm his body noticed that the tomb was empty. So do you see that there are no contradictions The next possibility is the theory that he was crucified on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday as explained earlier which will still make sense especially if you understand how the Jews count their days and nights with regards to observing the sabbath. Finally, notice that you are the one bringing this argument after 2000yrs, those church fathers at the council of Nicea in 325 AD never deliberated on this, and the early Christians did not think about this and neither did the Jews including the saduccess and pharisees who were usually quick to persecute use this argument against the disciples of Jesus who went about preaching jesus after his death and constantly reminding them how they killed Jesus and he resurrected after the 3rd day Any further questions?❤️

Wes, you have such a way of breaking down of different religions and belief systems in a very understandable way. This is so necessary for apologetics and evangelism. I really appreciate how you explain things, and how you do it in a very gentle but definitive way. God bless you!

All I saw in the debate was Wes fixating - on - 2 - issues that were mute points. I guess Wes has never misspoken on something he said where Christians label him a liar and crook. On the second point, whether Jesus was killed in this writing , or not. The facts are : no evidence beyond what the Bible says, backs - up anything it says as true

@@GobiLux More like a Christian - gotcha event where the slaves are looking for anything to criticize Billy on. Wes, fixated on 2 - things where Billy misspoke, and then corrected what he said. Of course , the Kool - Aid drinkers equate that to lying and being a scammer because they follow the lead of their masters, and recite what they tell them to say. The second thing the Christian - mafia are peddling on Billy is: That a manuscript for a Gospel contained writing on the crucifixion. Although, this means nothing since it was written by Catholic scribes, not the disciples.

If you have theism in your background, it’s plausible to infer a divine revelation in the resurrection. The irony is that you probably think religious people are the ones in bubbles. And while a ton of believers are indeed, so are you.

I love the good news of the gospel! Jesus preached "Repent and Believe!" Peter and Paul preached the same thing. Repentance (changing your mind) and Believing in themselves do nothing. It's WHO you repent for and believe in. We have many people believing in things that do not save but curse. Jesus is the only One who can save those who believe in Him! What good news for all people who do this!
