For years I have pryed for mutyal spiritual understanding between both sides. We use the more ancient word/vibration Kodoish instead of Kadosh so that it sinks in to both people since we are cousins. Shalom.

To Americans this is a funny feel-good movie but I have doubts about its efficacy for peacemaking. I imagine it's very belittling to the men and women who've experienced great loss and trauma as a result of this conflict. The equivalent would be if English university students did a lighthearted song and dance number about the Trail of Tears or the Ferguson riots.

I hear what you're saying, but it's not a true equivalency because this isn't about a specific tragedy(such as the Trail of Tears or a massacre or terrorist attack), it's about the ongoing, entrenched hostility and prejudice between people who are neighbors. And yeah, comedy is one way to break the ice on that.
