As an Eagles fan, I really appreciate your positive feedback brother 👍. Freo fans have actually grown on me over the years and they are actually really good blokes. In the past i was the worst when it came to Freo fans after we won, always acting like a jerk lol… you know jokes about the trophy cabinet… calling Clive Waterhouse Clive S***house 😂. I am very embarrassed about that past arrogance, but I grew more to appreciate my Freo mates and over COVID I think I became more pro-WA as opposed to “they are my enemy”. It took a bit of time, but I don’t harbour any of those old sentiments now. Although I don’t support them the Dockers are not the enemy at all

After the 171 point PTSD belting us Eagles fans through last year… the mate of mine who cheered me up the most (unexpectedly) was a dockers supporter. So after that moment, like the Grinch on Christmas… my heart grew 3 sizes lol. My anti-Freo hatred left me on that day 😂. It sounds funny but true story. I’m not one of these “support both teams” fools who wears an Eagles jersey one day and Freo the next (that is idiotic)… but have more appreciation for those fans now

It’s pretty funny… I was saying before the game to all my dockers mates “please go light on us this time after the loss… just bust our balls early and get it over and done with after you boys win”… so I was basically conceding early just for my mental health After the game, it’s fair to say I’m still in shock 😂. Dockers have the best back 50 in the competition, the most they conceded in a game this year was 76 points (by Kangaroos) and we got over 100 points. I say for us Eagles nuffies this ranks in the top 10 wins of all time. However im staying humble… we have to get a few more W’s on the board and try to be consistent, but I’m so proud of the boys 👍❤️. Also I need to add that the Dockers kept Tex and Rankine goalless when Adelaide played last time at Optus 😂. So thinking about what we did makes me more euphoric

Harley has made a significant impact on the Eagles, but I believe many are overlooking the impact of having several experienced premiership players back in the team. As a Fremantle fan, I noted at least five such players on the weekend, and you could even include Kelly. The Eagles haven't had this level of consistency from these players in years. Yeo is looking like he was 5 years ago, and Waterman I thought I was watching Fraser gherig, looks and plays just like him 😂

Freo gameplan has a massive flaw. As soon as teams man up behind the ball so we can't switch side to side looking for open side, we go to water. Longmuir needs to find a plan b when the oppo goes man on man.

If it’s free kick for dangerous tackle due to head hitting ground duty of care now for the player tackled should be straight off field 20mins for concussion checks . I imagine comms to the players will be keep your head up don’t accentuate the impact. The Barrass tackle is fine in my opinion and any other tackle just like it. If a player pins an opponent's arms and has full control swinging and dumping him hard into the ground, that's unacceptable, however an opponent standing up with resistance and trying to break the tackle makes it more difficult for the tackler to control and occasionally there's a release point, causing both players feet to lift and land with harder impact on the ground.

Justin Longmuir is a Ross Lyon clone. He coached under Lyon at freo right...so naturally he had those tendencies ..West coast admitted they needed to change from the clarkson style which won West coast a flag in 2018. The game has changed. LONGMUIR MUST BE BRAVE AND ADMIT the game plan is flawed....you cant change a problem Imagine freos forward if they had open space and speed on the ball... It's so flawed 😮

​@BackChat Longmuir 😮change the plan ....it takes a brave man to admit you got it wrong ...the game plan of chip...switch then try to pin point will win against poor teams but it doesn't work. The stand rule makes the chip chip easier but what happens is deadener have time to flood back. Longmuir has to change ...the defence is ok its the ball movement . That grinding skeeter mentioned leaves the opposition in the game. Be brave with the ball and take more risks.

The players know what they are signing up for so if they cop head injuries and end up with complications later in life then that’s their own fault for playing a game they knew could have that result
