Kate Demarchi, Merrit didn’t deserve that, you can’t get injured from getting your hair pulled a tiny bit, but you can get injured by getting thrown against a fence. Nic Nat is lucky Merrit got up and got on with it otherwise he would’ve been reported for sure. Also it just proves that WWE is fake because that was basically a choke slam, and WWE wrestlers get ‘injured’ from it yet Merrit didn’t, also if that was soccer it would have been a red card!

@@blakeafllover4840 i can understand the inexperience of finals footy for alot of the boys but you can't give up like that. They need to be ready for it. Alot of players that have been stepping up the whole year couldn't find their bearings at the start of the finals. We can sit here and say this person was injured and this person was injured, then why play them if they are not 100%. Even without the experience i believe younger less experienced players would still have had a better shot feeling 100% in the finals. We need a big target forward thats strong in the air as well as good at his goal scoring. We need a better ruck that is as good as grunde or nic nat, someone that can really make a difference when balling up!

A good game to kick of the 2019 Finals the 122nd Edition of the AFL Premiership Home and Away season. Although the stats told a different story with Essendon having more tackles then West Coast (just not the important ones) and a lot more bounces (6-22 despite West Coast looking the more attacking side, most of the bombers bounces were Saad)

Calculated gamble by the Bombers, bringing in all those underdone players returning from injury. It didn't come off, but the alternative was bringing in players who didn't have the talent to match it with the Eagles anyway... Not sure which way they should have went....but either way the Bombers didn't have the line-up to win this one... All in all, pretty good season by the Bombers, considering their line up & injury list.. They shouldn't blame the coach - though they probably will...................

Any player who runs in to stick up for a team mate should have an automatic 1 week suspension. Most of the time their team mates are the ones in the wrong anyway. If I hit , push or insult someone in my work place i would be sacked and charged but because your a sportsman oh that's ok tempers flare. Well ordinary workers get angry to but we control it. Why are these people treated as an exception. Hit someone, charge them set an example for all the youth that think this is ok because it isn't.
