West Grinstead Ploughing Match, September 2024.

This annual event is held near Horsham on a different farm every year. This year the day started miserably wet for those ploughing but by midday, the rain had stopped and we had a warm sunny afternoon. They have everything here, animals, ploughing, stationary engines and steamers and even, as you will see, a 1913 Curtis engined racer. A proper ploughing match was taking place over several fields including both vintage and more modern tractors.
