I think the argument is why can't we just play football. If you're going to lose, play to your strengths. A front line that's as good as anyones, and the likes of Kudus and Pacqueta are asked to defend - along with the rest of the team apart from Antonio - who is the only player capable of holding the ball up and passing to himself. Atrocious to watch, pure low-block anti-football. And his squad has cost £500Million.

No, but at least have some sort of attacking plan when we do get the ball upfield. Our players were literally stopping once they crossed the half way line. Antonio did well with the couple of 1 on 1's he had against Tah but no one was supporting him. Maybe if we'd shown some sort of threat it might have made them think twice about putting so many players forward because we had an outlet.

There are two camps. One love and value and care about football. Then there is the other camp.. They are just into the results business - profit and losses. They are unimaginative accountants. They think David Moyes is the greatest manager that has ever existed at LITTLE West Ham. They value results over style of play. They don't care about the history or reputation of the club (which is being decimated day by day). They don't care about the ever increasing pool of players who don't want to play for us because of our dubious reputation. I watched the game last night and trust me when I say Lrverkusen weren't anything special. Any team can look great if you stand off them and make them look ike world beaters. Antonio had Tah on toast in the first 10 minutes and had Moyes any nous whatsoever he would have sent instructions to target that area of the pitch,but no, Moyes doeswhat he does best, cowers in the corner praying we escape with our lives hoping to see out a 0-0.
