Finally! A reasonable West Ham fan! You are completely right about enjoying the positives, obviously being a Palace fan and seeing how we've progressed over the last 3 years, it used to be good when we beat Preston, now it's alright if we beat Liverpool! I'm, like you Spencer, uncertain on how my team will do this season. We'll probably finish 9th/10th and West Ham in and around there somewhere. But I am someone who enjoys the positives. I don't care if we've lost our last two games if we've beaten Chelsea away and we're 7th in the league. For a club like ours, with a stadium that holds 27,000 people, this is unheard of and that's why im enjoying it. To be honest I don't care if no one reads this, its just something that's been important to me for ages and finally someone agrees.

Had a very similar experience when my hometown club, Brisbane Roar played Central Coast Mariners at home a few weeks back. By far, the best football game ever, won 2-1, sat in the Home crowd area where all the chants were being sang, chanting throughout the game and managed to get on pitch for a photo with every supporter. Manged to get pictures with the players and manager. Brisbane aren't the biggest club in the world but being there and supporting them is by far the best experience of my life. Hands down.

They say it's unfair. Try being a Fulham fan! Five years ago we were in the Europa League final vs Atletico Madrid. Now we're mid table in the championship and struggling for consistency every weekend! I wish sometimes that he'd just man up and take responsibility for his team's poor performances. I completely agree Spenny. I'm a Crystal Palace fan and although we aren't one of the huge clubs in the prem, we have done some incredible things. Such as doing the double on Liverpool last year, beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and beating Man city. When you support a smaller club, you do have to celebrate the positives and in all honesty expect negatives to come around. At least we are not glory hunters. Hey guys. I am a Chelsea fan and just want to congratulate West Ham on the win first. Although im a Chelsea fan, I'm a bugger football fan. I tell this to many of friends when they mock my team for losing against poorer teams, 'thejoy lies in seeing them play, regardless of the result' I get happiness merely by seeing them play and that's all that matters. If we lose its disappointing if we win it's a bonus. As a football fan, I am also happy when I see smaller clubs able to fight against a huge club like Chelsea and this brings more joy to me. This shows football may not all be about money but passion now :)
