West Highland Way 2022 by a First Timer, a Second Timer and Third Timer

A great weeks walking with good weather at the beginning getting progressively wetter towards the end. Never easy but good company with laughs along the way

Finally got round to watching this. Absolutely class what an adventure. Those views coming through glencoe are something else mate aren't they. Can't believe your waterproof pants got swiped !!!. Really enjoyed that Graeme felt like I was with you all the way (from the comfort of my sofa 🤣) well done to you , Ian and smudgy. ATB Simon

My dog Smudge is a great mate 🐶👍. I'm lucky that my wife is a fantastic cook. I didn't bring too much food as you aren't far from civilisation but she had made the sausage cassoulet and dehydrated it in the Ninja and I sealed in a vacuum food sealer which are really handy. This was done because of the possibility of hotel being shut on Loch lomand like the previous year. Many thanks for the Sub too 🙂

How old was the dog when you did it? I've a 9 year old lakeland terrier

Smudge was 7 years old. I won't be taking her on any more though as the WHW was quite hard on her paws, fitness wise she was ok
