Thank you so much for sharing! We have been struggling with show grooming for nearly 7 years!! Too many handlers/groomers just aren't willing to help (don't want to increase the competition 😕 i guess). Between you and finally finding another Westie owner/handler who actually took a little time to show us and explain, I finally feel like we're no longer floundering! I'd love to see some hygiene maintenance tips for the underside of a male westie that doesn't disturb the fullness of the skirt. Thank you again!

Hi Celso, Love your work🐾👍 Do you ever clip any Westie's or just strip ? Would love love love to see a video on clipping a Westie xx

Love that you are so kind as to share your knowledge to help the beginners and fine tune the others when it seems to a lot of us that the experienced Westie folks choose not to teach or mentor the beginners .. I cherish each lesson you share .. as a lot of others do also .. Bless you and thank you !

That was so helpful. I have watched many videos and read many articles on hand stripping and others just say, “pull the hair in the direction you want it to grow” without ever explaining what direction that is. If you need inspiration for another video which would be helpful, you can take that same drawing, and just point to all those same spots and tell us how long the hair should be in each of those spots, which is something else I have trouble with. “Short” “shorter” “longer” are going to mean different things to different people. I know it depends a little bit on the dog, but “one inch” “3 inches” etc instead of longer and shorter, etc would really help. If I see a photo of a well groomed Westie with the hair on the top of the back lying flat, I don’t really know how long it is, or what I am shooting for.

Hello Celso! Last week you posted 2 dog trimming videos. I started watching, but unfortunately not completely, deciding to watch it on my day off. I am a West Highland owner and I trim my dog myself. There are very few good materials, and your videos were really useful to me. If possible, could you give access to these videos, maybe for a day? I will be very grateful. Thank you!

I am new to your videos. I love your explanation on Westies. Where can I get a copy of your sketch? I’d like to print it for reference. I just stripped for the first time on my 12 week old Westie this morning.

smith elendi if your dog doesn’t have much hair , don’t take too much and mix it by pulling some hair and using a bit of the thinning sheers next time, groom the heard every 10 days and only take the very long hairs, sometimes you can even go 2 weeks without doing the head depending how much hair your dog have
