This was a super series, despite the fact we lost 3-1. We were competitive in every match bar Antigua (where losing the toss meant losing the game, given the weather). The guys at Trinidad did a great job holding back-to-back tests on adjacent strips. Typical Trinidad wickets though - grassy on the first day, but dried out very quickly, started to crack and became a little uneven in bounce. The difference in this match was that the pitch was at its best on days 4 & 5, which you don't see often, and it got so flat. Very good series played in a good spirit, and we needed to move on from Atherton's captaincy.
