West Java Nature Left me SPEECHLESS 🇮🇩

In this video I made my way to Patenggang Lake which is a gorgeous lake near Ciwidey (Bandung). While strolling around the lake I saw lots of beautiful boats, talked to some locals and saw a very unique way of fishing live in action.
As mountain strawberries are very popular in this area I decided to buy a small box and boy those were delicious!
A local vendor was selling some kind of fried fritters so I decided to try that as well. I'm still not sure what it exactly was though!
Someone told me there was another volcano nearby so I decided to go for a little search and indeed I found a stunning crater called Cibuni Rengganis. This crater had hotsprings, chairlifts and an impressive suspension bridge overlooking the surrounding nature.

With my KZbin videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

Tim, come to Sukabumi and do trekking at Lembah Purba, with the longest suspension bride in south east Asia.. You can take train from Bogor or Jakarta to sukabumi..

If you're interested in Sundanese/West Java culture, there's a place to see a Sundanese musical performance using traditional instruments from bamboo called 'angklung', the name of the place is Saung Angklung Udjo.

There are many tea plantation in indonesia, west java, central java and east java, but mostly in west java

It’s kinda ignorant when you expect local people to understand your language without you even trying to use translator app in your smartphone to make it easier for them to understand. Remember that you’re visiting country with English is not their native language, try to respect by not expecting them to understand you, but the opposite.

This is certainly a trip off the beaten path.Those fried crispy kobis that you ate are cabbage.It's a very popular Indonesian snack being sold everywhere in Indonesia.Nice.👍That crater area has so much to explore and i find it so interesting with the sulphur emitting behind you.Yup that would be a nice thumbnail.Just too bad things didn't turn out as you wanted to but nevertheless you had a great time being there.Thanks for taking us along.Nice vlog Tim and stay safe!🙏💕🇲🇾

good job...you explore much more than other vloger in chewy day...thats very exotic spot in chewy day you find even as domestic traveler cannot reach it because need shuttle bus to get there...i think those tickets just for approval enterance tourism spot,usually in indonesia tourism spot the tickets is advance no need to show it to the cheker on the front exept they ask your tickets, in many spot also there is some additional tickets to buy for enterance that spot like the bridges you meet the thailand tourists...i really expect for shuttle bus from any city which has tourist spot like this....hope you enjoy the tour and don't come back to hotel in the dark cause you will have some one on your back seat like lady from dutch colony era with her classic umbrella (^,_,^)....just kiddin hope you enjoy chewy day and other city in indonesia...great vlog
