When u think about it it’s almost ironic that Irish when to Scotland and the Scots and English when to ulster/Ireland its almost like they colonised each other and planted loyalists. Great point ! ! Got to laugh at all the daft Rangers fans telling us Scott's of Irish heritage to f.o. back home to Ireland. I presume they don't read much history ! Around AD 400 the Dál Riata peoples from the East coast of Ireland migrated over to the West coast of Scotland and settled around Argyle. These migrants from were especially noteworthy because they were known to the Romans as "Scotti" and would eventually give their Gaelic language and their name to all of what is now known as Scotland. Eventually the Pic's who were the indigenous tribe living in the East of Scotland amalgamated with the Scotti under Cináed (Kenneth) mac Ailp'n in A.D. 844. Seems the Irish have much more of a connection to Scotland than the Union Jack waving Rangers fans think.

I don't get how any nation sends it's military to shoot and kill unarmed civilians in a foreign country. Every July foreigners march the streets of Ulster banging drums and inciting tensions. . . . The Bloody Sunday memorial march was for the deaths of civilians murdered in living memory. The assassins are still alive, so are the family members of their victims. . . . The Boyne was a good while ago now but the Marching goes on still. I really don't get that. I mean if a person loves being British and Loyalist then fair play- that's their right and their sense of identity. So why not live in Britain? Why bang drums in Derry etc. ? Sidenote: loyalist votes may be useful in Scotland soon when the next independence referendum comes around.
