West Running Brook by Robert Frost inTamil / PG TRB / Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. A brook which flows through west, while all other brooks flow through east, attracted the attention of a young couple. It seem the brook has confidence on the choice of its course in preferring the opposite direction. Human behaviour also is marked by this kind of eccentricity. The wife wants to connect the river with her life. She notices a white wave on the surface of the river. She assumes that the river has raised the wave to greet her. But he husband explains that the white wave is formed as the gushing stream dashes against a submerged rock. Then the husband tells he that life is full of opposites. There is need to go back to the source to get awareness. The wife feels that the day is significant.
