No. That was a T-34, a late 1930's pre-WWII tank design, contemporary with the larger T-44 (not really used), again remodelled into the T-54 (so, basically a pre-WWII design), produced since 1946, and now being sent to the front. So T-34 is the little brother, T-54 is the big brother. The russians are throwing 77 years old junk into the battles in Ukraine. Ukrainian scrap yeards will have boom times after the war.

I feel bad for the WW2 Soviet veterans that actually fought the Nazis having to watch this puppet of the oligarchs go up there and lie his ass off about how strong and right Russia is today. At least the one tank in the parade didn't break down this year. As for the veterans of that distant war, I have seen their appeals in support of a special military operation in Ukraine and have not seen anyone who would be against it. Do you know why? The Russian ex prisoners they sent to the front line aren't much better than Nazis anyways. I watched a video of Russian special forces chopping a Ukrainian prisoner of war head off with a knife like it was the middle ages. Russian troops are just as savage and just as ugly in this conflict. Who invaded who. Did Ukraine come over the Russian border with 33 combat divisions and start killing innocent people? Or was that the Russian army? Because even if there were Nazis in Ukraine at this point I'd say they are still the victims based on how savage the Russian troops in THEIR country have been. As a U.S. serviceman if I was asked to go fight Russians in Ukraine I would gladly with a smile on my face as the Ukrainians welcomed us with open arms as liberators. There is no anti Russian Nazis there my friend your country is killing innocent people by the 100,000s and spoon feeding it's people lies to cover it up.

Russia is just using military force to get what it wants, and trying desperately to come up with reasonable justification for it's military force. Russia is even calling this a proxy war now, which is laughable because it wasn't long ago that it was illegal in Russia to even call this a war it was a "special military operation" and if you said the word war they arrested you. But now it's fine for them to call it a proxy war. And Putin during his speech called it a war. So why was it illegal to call it a war? Because they are manipulating you. But Russia, having annexed Crimea (which did not accept the new illegal power in Kiev and wished to join Russia), insisted on peace talks between the Kiev wall and the two unrecognized republics of Donbass (which also did not accept the illegal power in Kiev). Russia insisted on peace agreements according to which Donbass would remain part of Ukraine, but with a special status and guarantees, first of all, a guarantee not to oppress the Russian language. But Ukraine did not fulfill the points of the peace agreements signed by it and continued to fight with these republics. If Putin wanted to take these territories, he would have taken them back then, 9 years ago, and would not have insisted that Donbass remain part of Ukraine.
