For a tournament game, fouls called were ticky-tack. But, WVU is one of the best 16 teams IN THE NATION. That is a very proud accomplishment. WVU competes very well in the Big-12, when the other teams in the conference are recruiting top 100 players. Which is they way I like it, a WVU fan doesn't need them around anyhow. Next year is going to be awesome. Konate can have his breakout year, Beetle penetrating and dishing, hitting threes, and I can not wait to see what Culver brings. We need an athletic slasher who can score and get to the line whenever he wants. All that with a strong bench and a 6'8" two guard in Wes. 2018-2019 is going to be another great year.

I'm not saying wv would of won but there was more then a few questionable fouls especially after wv took a 6 point lead 12 min left

Bradley Conrad will you people ever stop whining about the officiating. First its the Big 12 refs now its the tourney refs. They just choked under pressure like they always do SOP for WVU. Maybe next year but I doubt it lol

Charles Putnam Yea so still don't justify the fouls late I'm not saying wv would of won but because of some very tik tak calls stop the momentum with the lead that one Myles reach wasn't even close lol but oh well I guess that's how USA sports are..

If you have to play 12 minutes worrying your star players are going to foul out, it changes a lot including how aggressive they can be in defense and offense, not merely giving the opposing team foul shots. No excuse here though; Villanova was a better more complete team. WVU isn't a three shooting finesse team. This matchup was the absolute worst possible opponent WVU could have played. Not saying WVU would have won, but had the foul situation not surfaced, it would have been a lot closer at the end.

Charles Putnam I do think nova was the better team but just because wvu is a physical team doesn't mean they can call til tak calls late It would of been a fun 7 series but it's over I hope nova loses at some point because I'm still salty
