Two main differences between our team this year and what it was in 2012 is 1. Our defense was playing actual talented teams with NFL offensive rosters. 2. Our offense was atleast elite to keep up with the other teams

What you mentioned at the 9 min mark is spot on and I have noticed this all season. In most positions we are too small and too slow if you really break the game down and watch it’s pretty obvious. Remember what Joe Paterno said when someone asked him when do you think WVU will be able to beat PSU his answer is when they get better players. I love WVU and I say this with as much respect as possible but we have a few P4 players but for the most part most of our guys should be playing at G5 level it’s pretty obvious

It’s insane that this has happened multiple times with different players and ppl still refuse to say it’s 100% on coaching. I have a suspicion that Neal brown played a lot bigger role with the defense that what we know bc that was textbook Jordan Lesley performance/play calling. Go in man and bring the house, the kids are more than capable of doing that and it works, instead they send 3 and drop into zone which leads to them getting picked/gashed apart.
