Fell asleep last night before I could watch this. Great video brother. I think this one is going to do well. I feel you on the back. I feel so lucky to be physically well in my 40s, but even my back muscles are tight the morning after digging. I really wish I had a dredge. A brand new Keene with all the trimmings costs about the same as the transmission I just bought.

Weld a screw on the end of the suction pipe! You don’t want all those rock. Going through your pump! You will destroy it maximum wire 1/4 inch wire! Weld it to the intake pipe! So it doesn’t come off!

Hmm some test panning maybe next time you had .2 from your first miners moss so you only gained. 2 from roughly 4 hours dredging. I'm sure it was a good time but could have been a better time

I hear ya. We have pulled ounces out of this spot in the last few years. I think we were losing gold due to a couple things. He had the water ripping through the sluice box and it didn’t seem like the riffles were exchanging properly.

It takes a lot of stuff to work properly. And I don’t usually dredge, this is my buddies dredge. It works great though.

Thank you, and this is a non ESH creek. Meaning we are allowed to dredge. There are still a bunch of places in Oregon that we can.

You might want to try cow Creek or Wolf Creek last time I was up in those areas there was a lot of gold there's another Creek up by sixes River I can't remember the name of it though I remember it a lot of good gold there too good luck 🤞

Even with all our knowledge, equipment, and tricks……it’s really hard to get more than 2 ounces of gold in a year in our part of Oregon.

How do you know where to dredge that’s legal in Oregon me and my dad bought equipment and we were looking at some locations but saw that it was illegal in almost all water ways.

Go check out “Republic Mining Prospectors Association” and join the club. They have lots of areas you can dredge.
