13:49 Most people aren't Muslim, a vast majority of blacks in America are Christian or former Christians. Using the terminology from a religious leader would be a hard sell for a lot of folks. It's much better to use a term with no religious backdrop imo

Arguably 99% of those, who attended the Monday, October 16, 1995 MMM (Million Man March) were Black men, who were Christian, former Christian, of Christian descent and/or Christian influenced. Nevertheless, nearly 2,000,000 Black men POSITIVELY responded to the call of The Honorable Louis Farrakhan [Muslim] Trumpeting, Championing The Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad [Muslim]. Approximately 500,000 of said Black men at the MMM were on the National Mall reverently observing the Adhan [the Muslim Call to Prayer] for Salat Al Fajr at 5 AM. Also, if a name is a proper noun, and Black is being used, as a name for a people, then consider typing Black with a capital B. May Peace Be With You (John 20:19, 21, 26; Luke 24:36) = As Salaam Alaikum. .

Much ❤ & Respect brother Kam. The caller from the Bronx is right. As a ny'er it's a given fact Islanders do not rock with each other until it's time to go against an American.. The prejudice shit is tricky due to the Stockholm syndrome you mentioned. I've traveled all over and never seen in my life any black Americans being hired in Chinese, Jamaican, African etc.. businesses ...that speaks volumes.

People must remember that many people used our style of music & sampled James brown & George Clinton . They all made music to appeal to who? Our people not theirs. Without our people support they music don’t sell. Fat Joe doesn’t write his music a guy from the Bronx write his music who is ? Black. So what’s his beef? He got rich off our culture & now he mad cause the brothers won’t support his new flop album. Fat Joe need to get his people to support him & see how far he get 🤝

Then stop allowing them to come into your culture! You FBA people are on EMINEM's jock and are claiming that he's one of the greatest rappers who ever lived! Some of you are his defense attorneys! In twenty years or less, EMINEM will be considered the founder of rap music thanks to the FBA people! 😅

First of all, I want to ask you proud FBA if you're so knowledgeable about your Indigenous musical artistry why did you people give up on the blues, rock and roll, funk, and jazz?! I challenge you FBA people to name five authentic blues musicians who created the foundation of rock and roll! Afterward, please give me a list of another five Black American rock and roll stars who created the genre! I'm a middle-aged Haitian American man originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn, and I consider myself to be a part of the African American culture and experience. I admire the history of the culture, I represent it, respect it, and I've studied it! However, a lot of my African American brothers and sisters can be our own worst enemies! We allow people into our culture and they feed on it and we allow outsiders to steal it and rewrite history! And eventually, we're giving away our history, culture, and art for a price! We're quick to dismiss our importance by claiming art is old, tired, and played out! Then we get emotionally involved when people recycle our shit and take credit for it! You can't be mad at Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones for keeping the blues alive when the FBA threw it away!
@Keepskatin18 күн бұрын
YOU make no sense white boy. Younger people in general arent into jazz and blues, not even you culture vultures. Just because it ain't popular anymore doesnt change the fact we Blacks created Blues, Jazz and Rap, you others are leachers. Be original bite your own culture. You people copy break dancing from vlacks too, even the way you dress.😂😂 What blacks even listen to no black rap😂
@mrworkowt541918 күн бұрын
No one threw anything away. It was stolen. Please stop with the we are on worst enemies.That is so outdated
@zroy926318 күн бұрын
@mrworkowt5419 Again, with the victimization! As a Black man who grew up around Black folks, I can't find very many FBA people who appreciate blues music! They tell me that it's sad slave music that's full of misery! Nothing could be further from the truth! When I go to blues clubs in Los Angeles the vast majority of the audience are white! It's the same with the concerts! Today, you have posers like that broad BEYONCÉ singing country music by Dolly Parton while dressed in RED, WHITE, AND BLUE with a fuckin' blond wig! And why don't YOU give me a list of your top five favorite blues artists?!
@zroy926318 күн бұрын
@mrworkowt5419 Again with the victimization! If it was stolen by the other man, then tell me why you FBA people aren't trying to take it back and preserve the history of my musical heroes like John Lee Hooker, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Howlin' Wolf, Jimi Hendrix, Albert Collins, MuddyWaters, and Buddy Guy! The Rolling Stones and Martin Scorsese have done more to support the history of the blues than Tariq Nasheed!
