I was taught to disassemble carburetors and over a clean white shop rag. A habit thats stuck more than a decade later.

Thank you Rich again for the great information. Have you ever used an ultrasonic tank to clean carbs that might be plugged up? I’m thinking about buying a small one just for small carbs.

I have, did learn at factory training not to leave timer on longer than 10 min. It’s possible to damage components not removed ( shafts , butter flys, Welch plugs) WestCoastMuscleSaws TheChainSawGuy Rich
