Wound Care Essentials: Video 2 - Diabetic Ulcers

This video presents an introduction to the diagnosis, management, care, and treatment of the Diabetic Foot Ulcer, a common complication of diabetes that occurs when a wound or sore develops on the foot or lower extremities of a person with diabetes. Diabetic foot ulcers can be painful, and if left untreated, can result in serious complications, including amputation. Use of the Wagner Grade as an assessment tool is introduced.
