"People didn't know how to read." It's actually a misconception that people in the Middle Ages couldn't read. What is true is that most people in the Middle Ages didn't know how to read and write in Latin, because that was the official language of the Catholic Church. If you couldn't do that, you were considered illiterate. However, many, many people knew the Roman alphabet phonetically. They knew what sounds each character stood for, and they used that. But from greece to Rome Next she only Talk about europe so I think she put Western in the title or else people will complain about the lack of Chinese or indian or african Art ecc… but before the West was Born it’s cool to see what humans were doing!
