Surprised you not using hammocks. There's some awesome ones in the states all you need is a couple of cracks in the rocks to hang from super super comfy and light weight. My whole setup is 2.8kg in the bag . That s tarp hammock underquilt and top quilt and hammock straps. Used it when I rode to Albany last year. I'll never sleep on the ground again :)
@gidosfishingadventures5 жыл бұрын
Dane has one hes used a bit but its hard to find 2 cracks opposite each other and close together. My 2man tent weighs 2kg and i have a one man that weighs 1.3kg and Danes bivy weighs 1kg, our matresses are about 400-500g. I think if we jad more trees suitable id be all for it but yeh strugle to find 2 cracks opposite each other close unfortunately
@Galvoflysoz5 жыл бұрын
@@gidosfishingadventures yeah man I thought you'd have cracks all over but then again I havnt tried around rocks just seen a lot of climbers use them. My whole setup is 2.8 including quilts absolutely love it. When I'm camping with the at I only need one pint as can use the roof racks. Love watching your vids mate not sure Id enjoy that cold weather down there though Brrrrrrrr

Good to see you guys are using rock anchors. I have done a lot of fishing off the rocks on the Big Island of Hawaii. Very exciting and dangerous. Just one rogue set is all it takes to get swept and pounded into hamburger.

@gidosfishingadventures5 жыл бұрын
Hey Hayden. I havnt been fishing for them before but if I did i would use a daiwa 5000 or shimano 10000 size reel with a pe3-5 or 4-6 rod around 9 to 10ft, length probably depend more on where you are fishing and your personal preferance thou. Shorter could be good also
