The first thing this guy should have said when the supervisor arrived was "Upon her arrival, this officer forcibly searched my person, went into my pockets taking my identification from me thus violating my 4th amendment right. All of you and the sheriffs department is now subject to litigation due to her actions. You need to make your lieutenant & sheriff's attorney aware of this immediately. I repeat, I do not consent to any searches of my person."

On Amazon they have small 5x7 lockable money bags that all auditors should keep their ID and other papers in. Even the most stupid cop who delights in their ignorance knows that they cannot bypass that lock or force you to open it without creating major problems for themselves. Yet, a quick spin of the combination gives you immediate access to whatever you need. It seems to me that would be as mandatory for an auditor as their camera is.
