This is a very POWERFUL episode of Western Edge Living presented by CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson!
We start out with a conversation with CHI St Alexius Health Dickinson Community Health Care worker Allison Wanner. She grew up on a farm near Gladstone, ND and spent 20 years as a surgical technician. She went on to get her degree in psychology which lead her to her current position.
You'll see the caring, patient and compassionate personality she is blessed to have as her position requires her talk to people whose current situation may not be all that pleasant. We are so very, VERY fortunate to have a person such as Allie to be there when we need her. She is blessed which in turn leaves us blessed. Thank you Allie.
To hear a person who attempted suicide talk about the future of our community is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced as an interviewer. I am vey proud to bring you a recent conversation we had with Dean Kluver. Dean grew up amongst strawberry fields and orange orchards in southern California and has been in Dickinson since 2016. He and his wife went through the pandemic with a newborn and Dean sunk to the lowest point he's ever been in his life.
But this was NOT his time.
He came back and now he is highly motivated by our community. He loves seeing families and individuals come together and enjoy things such as the Superbowl Party he organized at Dickinson Legacy Square.
Dean Kluver's story is one for the ages and we're extremely humbled we get to share a small part of it here on this platform!
