I always find these videos interesting. While I know in my mind that I am not getting the full effect, it is interesting that I think, we get at least a bit of the coloration of the sound and resonance of the horns in the reproduction of what we hear on our speakers no matter what they are. The most eye opening thing for me is showcased in this video with the camera and mic moving around we can actually hear and see the off axis response difference from the sweet spot.

Are the subs up to 100Hz or 200Hz? In a Satohorn, I think 200Hz or 300Hz is a better goal, in order to leave room for a midbass horn before the sub.

Okay, I am new to this whole audiophile thing so forgive me. But, what is the point if spending the money on a nice tube amp id you are going to be feeding it digital compressed music? Doesn't that kinda defeat the idea of an analog amp?

Hello, the music is not compressed ....... The CD`s are converted in Flac 16-bit / 44.1 KHz and analogized in 24 bit / 396 KHz and then digitaliesed in the professional digital crossover (YAMAHA D2040) again divided into the various frequencies, converted to analog again and go to the tube amplifier. This is the only way to reliably adjust the frequencies of the room space and obtain an optimum frequency response, the result speaks for itself. next VIDEO comming soon with one mor Tubeamp for the tweeterhorn and to McIntosh Amps for the Klipsch la scala and Klipschorn......................

Hicks Unlimited The sides of the La Scala at high volumes tend to swing it. That's why I designed the sides twice and then filled with sand, Even the middle triangle should be reinforced with wood. But really consider that the housing of La Scala only up to 50Hz goes down. Therefore, I have the KLIPSCH corner horns built to support this, just so you then have the "right bass" The corner horns work to 90Hz and above this frequency, the La Scalas be used.
