That was the same motel that I stayed at when I was in Nashville Tennessee, I only had 2 & half weeks of over the road training I sent in 4 loads & they only paid me $300.00 I went home for my Thanksgiving holiday I cleaned out my truck I went to the Bethlehem Pennsylvania terminal called my dispatcher and told him that I quit turned in my truck got a bus ticket home. My dispatcher wouldn't let me go home for doctor's appointments he purposely made me miss my doctor's appointments.

They changed hotels. 7 years ago, the hotel was closed to downtown. I used to walk to this bbq place all the time. Spent only 4 months at Western Express

quick tip for all the new guys: If a company is busing you in it’s a huge red flag. If they fly you in with no reimbursement it’s probably a better company

But that's trucking , I'm home on weekends and they treat me well

If I wind up having to drive for Western Express I'll drive my personal vehicle to and from orientation I'm close enough I'm like less than an hour away from the terminal in Nashville so ain't no way I'm staying in that hotel it looks worse than the hotel Stevens Transport had me staying in.

Yes about all recognized cdl dot companies use the clearinghouse. If you really thinking about going to western lmk we can do a referral and I shoot you some money that comes in the bonus! Its $1,000 and Ill shoot you $400

DOT (Department of Transportation) Im pretty sure its all the documents that came with your initial DOT physical when you first got your CDL license or at some point.

@@kutthroat83 oh nah no rental. They do busses. I rode a bus to the terminal. I do think they reimburse for flights . It depends on how long you’re with a trainer. If they are new don’t know what they’re doing or have routes across the country and back expect like 2/3 weeks if they know what they doing and do routes in the region week to 2 weeks. They say it’s performance based. That’s cap. It depends on where your loads are going, how much time you and your trainer have to drive and how urgently they need your butt in a drivers seat.
