WESTERN RATTLER 357 (Deer Hunt)

the rattler 357 for western airgun guns did a great job on this doe.. i have this gun tuned to shot 8 shoots at 250 fpe with 150gr slugs. this doe was about 40 yards and didn't run 30 yards.. big thank you to airguns of Arizona and western airguns for sending thing gun out for testing.

That was a hell of a blood trail. Not that it was needed to find her , but she was spewing ... good shot , take down , I was hoping the corn stalks wouldn't ricochet the shot & make yu miss .... that's a bad ass air rifle .. I like it !

air rifles have come a LOOOOOOONG WAY!! some are more powerful than a actual firearm! the Umarex50 caliber takes down2000 pound plus african cape buffalo!! i have two! western 357 rattlers! that actually penetrate 55 gallon steel drums the Umarex 50 caliber 580 grain slug actually went completly through 3!! 55 gallon steel drums!!

based on what i experienced with the sk-19 well made great cycling wheel accurate seems to have the formula less moving parts less stuff to go wrong with it ,. love the sk-19 // down side no slugs ,. i crank up everything for max power and blast 50grain JSB-s,,. ANYWAY i want this gun next rattler .357 , .. i got to save up 3.5k to light on fire and buy one and all the accessories lol, . .

🤠 Your video was great, as usual, but I have some comments regarding the gun. Maybe you can pass the message on. It seems to be a solid and powerful instrument. They goofed with the fixed magazine though. It does not make any sense to do that for a semi-auto and full where you spend the bullets so quickly. That is why there are no fixed magazines in firearms and very few in PCP. It looks well built so if they change that and I can put a larger air tank I'll get one. Thanks for the video. 👍

you can put a larger tank on, up to 700cc. firearms have fixed mags. Yeah mostly older guns but there's many shotguns, lever guns, bolt actions, SKS, M1 garand, etc But I agree there should be an option, like the Sidewinder has, but then again it's sometimes useful if you only want to reload a couple rounds at a time The huben platform is the same and does great, it's not too bad once you use it. i thought i was going to hate it, and the Huben are shot much faster, especially the GK1 pistol

It's been a hard year here. Deer just disappeared when rifle season started. Then getting dumped on by snow and freezing temps.. but I really wanted to show what this gun could do.. hell of a year lol

Between the freezing temp and dogs everywhere it’s been hard work. I’m seeing signs but they are only moving out of the pines at night. You can’t see more than 5 yards in the young trees so even if you can jump um you can’t get a responsible shot. I have 2 weeks left maybe I can get it done

I cast my own 357 ammo.. these were 150gr with a deep hollow point

Pellets didn't shoot the best for me but most slugs did pretty well .. I can't speak to long term use because airguns of Arizona wanted the gun back when I was done with it

U can tell pretty easy if it's a doe.. the shape of the head and nice smooth hair on top.. a buck will have a nice dark hair on its head and u can see antlers or the spot antlers use to be.. if you're out in the woods long enough would will be able to tell most deer about... But don't get me wrong I shot a buck with no antlers because I thought it was a doe.. but 80% of the time it's pretty easy to tell
