Most of the videos out there about ultraraces tell us what drives the runners over normal limits, and often the spark that brought them or kept them doing this kind of races is something very emotional, noble, worth mentioning. I think any of this kind of event should prep a room with a chair and a camera and ask the runner, after he/she signs for the race, to go inside and talk their hearts out why they are doing this and how they manage to do this. Everyone has a story to tell and someone out there will be pleased to hear your story. The internet makes it possible to share this moments.

Great film. I ran it 20 years ago and the finish is nothing like any other race that I have done. I agree very emotional.
