Thanks for the gatling! One of the things I enjoyed a lot on 76 was the antique gatling, as the lower fire rate allowed me to walk my shots. Named it "Lady Liberty", and 2 guards at the castle also use them.

@@tyler3936 A couple of ideas I have are SUPER Lore Friendly. Aztec Style Armor, which is just Denim submerged and left in a Salt Water Brine to soak for 3 days to a Week. And a Kit Bashed Norseman Styled Armor Set, to go with the Makeshift Axe, Sword, and Mace.

@@tyler3936 Really easy to make Salt Water Brine Soaked Denim. I do it all the time as it has a pretty good heat resistance I glue on Powdered Graphite to make sure. I wear it for when I'm working with Welders, Grinding and Sanding Metal, and Casting and Hammering Metal.

Tumba is recently doing his efforts into making nice armors.But he didin't add them to the armorbench so them can't be make pulletproof.And I know one guy is making FO3 powerarmor style armor(no need fusion core，high defence )

Black is more tactiCool. White (or grey) is more goofy. It's made for security, black made for warriors. So that white thing suits Vault-Tec, and the black vest with pouches is ideal in its category too!

I've had this mod idea floating around in my head witch boils down adding two armor mods on the same item by using the laser muskets bracketed barrel it would unlock at armorer LV3 and 4. Example Deeper pocket would be pocketed and deep pocketed

Nice work with the armor. I'm honestly surprised someone hasn't made a mod to break down the modular armor system further. Like upper and lower limbs, helmets and face masks together, upper and lower torso. That sort of thing.

Your vest mod made the police for my New Sanctuary Hills SO MUCH BETTER. I wish there was some built-in retextures for people that cant do it themselves though :( Maybe at some point you can add some textures for settlement security like “SANCTUARY HILLS SECURITY/POLICE DEPARTMENT” on the back, or “SUFFOLK COUNTY SHERIFF” or “VAULT 111 SECURITY OFFICE”. Just a thought!

Dak thank you for that security armor mod exactly what I’ve been looking for for my guard settlers there’s other Kevlar armor mods that use the vault tec armor like the law enforcers mod and even the Kevlar vest in the gunners pack but they’re all hefty downloads but not this one 🤙🏻

Honestly wish I could try out these mods,but unfortunately I’ve come across that “this operation could not be completed” bug some player have,meaning I no longer have access to mods and am stuck with the current mods I had downloaded beforehand. Maybe one day I could have access to mods again,but one can only hope.

Ridiculous proposal: Hopper magazine for your lever-action or varmint shotgun mod. You can't tell me a hopper mag that uses a Calico-mag inspired helical feed system to get rounds into position for loading _couldn't_ work, or that some mad wastelander wouldn't make it if they could! 😁

Dak there is a strange bug with the security armor that idk if it’s one of the mods I have that causes it, or if it’s the mod it’s self. When I crouch with the security armor the left arm the armor covers half of my screen even though it shouldn’t any ideas what it could be? (I have no clue how discord works I just thought I’d do this to make it easier on myself).

Dak if you're taking ideas i have two ideas for Minutemen themes weapons. Energy Arquebus. The idea here is for it to be a modular heavy energy weapon that can be converted to be a laser, plasma or tesla weapon. This is inspired by the Arquebus. Air rifle. Inspired by the Girandoni air rifle. A repeater rifle that existed at the time of the American revolution. Anyone else can use these ideas if they want too.

Possible idea for two different heavy energy weapons: PLEASE LIKE THIS IF YOU THINK IT WOULD BE COOL SO DAK CAN SEE IT THANKS A similar to or just straight up Gatling laser model, perhaps the older model from fo3/fnv? It’s technically automatic but instead of shooting lots of shots per second, you hold down/press the trigger and the gun charges for roughly 1.5 seconds and lets off a super powerful laser shot then vent for about 1 second. This laser would behave like a normal bolt but look BIG like a downsized liberty prime laser or something. The damage would be VERY powerful able to disintegrate all but the most powerful foes in one shot to the chest. So everything but maybe sentrybots, deathclaws, etc would need only two shots. Something SUPER BIG like a behemoth or vertibird make take 3-5. Now to balance this superpowerful weapon it first needs to be HEAVY, rare to find, expensive to buy, and you need max perks to modify it. Secondly the biggest of the cons is it uses fusion cores as ammo AND one shot costs 25% of the cores charge. Meaning if you get 4 shots per core. Now to offset this I think being able to have different capacitors moddable so you can tone down the cost per shot but also making it do less damage but making it more versatile. Maybe if fully turned turned down it’d turn into like a semiautomatic laser cannon or something similar to the Plasma caster. SECOND WEAPON: Hear me out, LASER...MACHINEGUN. Like a proper machine gun too. I’m thinking have it look like something like a falloutized m60? Perhaps load the mcf’s or cores(idk what ammo would be better, maybe both?) like a rocket pod where the ammo box sat on an actual m60. I’m thinking a moderate firerate around maybe like an m240b or perhaps slower. Damage wise I’d say have it be moderate, say like 3-6 shots to chest to drop a raider. But keep it to the point that it’s not a death by a thousand paper cuts. Due to the ROF the raider should be dead in about 1-1.5 seconds, a deathclaw maybe like 5 seconds of sustained fire. Hopefully you can work your magic and make it super modular. The capacity I’m thinking should be around 200. The cons of this gun would be THATS it’s like 20 pounds, chews through ammo(why allowing (optionally?) it use cores might be a good idea), and it becomes somewhat inaccurate at long range as it prefers to rely on accuracy by volume, it’s also be uncommon(or not) and expensive to buy and mod. I think it’d be the perfect weapon for a power armor unit that isn’t using the big boy heavies. Imo it’d be a perfect middle ground too between the mobility and accuracy of an automatic laser rifle and the damage and capacity of a Gatling laser. Plus it’s a FUCKING LASER MACHINEGUN! It’s a tragedy that nothing like that exists.

Delete and redownload the game, one of the mods you have downloaded is no longer available and preventing you from opening the mod menu most likely. I had a similar problem because I had a few Spifferino mods downloaded and their mods are no longer available.

Is there any lore friendly laser or plasma variant of ar-15 (or screaming eagle) . I've seen one mod but it doesn't really fit the fallout aesthetic. Also a cool idea would be to patch the Thompson smg replacer with the attachment pack, but then again that's alot of resizing or remodeling, is it worth the effort.

Not a laser or plasma variant that I know of, however there is a unique variant that’s basically a prototype gauss AR in Deadpool2099 Service Rifle mod. It’s lore friendly and pretty high quality but doesn’t work with see through scopes in my experience. Edit: the mod author maybe called Painter2099 now so maybe search that instead.

Hey Dak, can you make a hair color pack mod for consoles because we have only three options: Zella's Dyn pack one and two and nuka world's DLC Dyes and there're very limiting due only picking one out of all and out of all the gun mods no seems interested in doing so. That's what I don't like about so much of the CC stuff, its not level integrated. And Nuka-World as a whole is bad about it to. I don't see any of the raiders using western revolvers, not even after we assign Dry Rock to a gang. Yet I see the Disciples rolling with .44 revolvers just as often as they do their short barreled, no stock AKs
