Weatern weapons in large variety and quantity are already in the hands of fanatics in Afghanistan...not as a result of smuggling, but due to the disorganized withdrawal of US troops.

Russian weapons industry is not a very advanced one. Many Russian tech was reverse engineered from West designs stolen by Russian (soviet) spies along the years. The captured Leopards and other Western armored vehicles are going to be reversed engineered by Russia to advance theirs productions and to solve production error by copying Western advanced solutions (Armata Tanks problems, says anything to anyone?). In fact, I don't understand why the Ukrainian army does not have a compulsory demolition policy to abandoned Western vehicles (each crew or team should have a demolition or phosphorous charge to completely destroy any abandoned vehicle closer to enemy lines), exactly to avoid the Western tech from being captured and become reverse engineered by Russia. From my point of view, this has been a big mistake by Ukraine and the allies (not destroying abandoned arsenal/vehicles that have a low probability of being recovered).

Very dramatic they don't have the capability to build anything by themselves absolutely all of their weapons are made up of 90% western parts so obviously reverse engineering a Western tech isn't gonna do shit they have had access to basically everything for a long time their best tanks use French optics for Christ sake and most of their shit uses German engines Ukraine destroys the vehicle when they don't think they can recover them how much money do you want them to waste that every single time something goes wrong you want them to blow it the fuck up instead of recovering it they blow up western vehicles quite regularly exactly when they deem it necessary and fyi the west hasnt sent any equipment that is the newest version other than maybe cv90 but I could be wrong on that one even

@@vksasdgaming9472 Yes they do, but many people does not know that the Mikhail Kalashnikov's AK47 design was based on stolen plans of the the American M1 Garand and the German StG 44. He then simplified and adapted the designs.

@@BenMartinBox Every firearms designer steals from predecessors. John Garand copied and stole Hiram Maxim's work on gas-operated firearms and so did Hugo Schmeisser. Kalashnikov himself said he used M1 Garand and StG-44 as points of origin. Just because he was initially poorly educated Russian does not mean he didn't become very competent designer and AK-pattern didn't come out of nowhere. Heckler & Koch was last company to actually try something truly new in firearms and they got into working prototype.

Spin the facts you call narrative . But Germany could not find heads or tails when it tried to audit the small weapons supplied. Certainly and this is a fact, the European underworld has always been supplied with weapons by Eastern countries , Ukraine being one. There is no doubt there is absolutely no control whatsoever in Ukraine..so money and weapons just vanish and surface in awkward places..
