Got home at 6am this morning from work, heard this, cried, and prayed for forgivness. 2 months ago I was in prison, and 2 years ago I was in a worse place than that. Today my life is incredible and its getting better everyday. Jesus, my family, and my work have gifted me with a life worth living, one I might add, that I do not deserve.

Don't take much when you get to the age of realizing what's really important does it Hoss? I'm dying with a terminal illness. This song gives me comfort. I've never been afraid of a damn thing in this life and this song confirms it for me. I do fear for the world our grandbabies will grow up in though.

Em There's no shame in being broken hearted B7 C Though I try to do more to fix my soul G Trying to be more than when I started Am There's no path before me, there's no horror story Am Em That could ever keep my god from swinging low Em People act a certain way in trials B7 C Different than they do on any day G This is when you see a man's true colors Am This is when he shows you how much he can go through Am Em D Before all his faith is stripped away C I work hard not to fall G Cause it's a long way down C And I owe it to my family G Keep my feet on the ground Am C It's in the sunshine, I feel the sunshine G It's shining down on me Em I admit at times I've been unfaithful B7 C Times where all I do is worry and doubt G That's when my god comes like warming rays of summer Am Melting all my worries and my insecurities Am Em D And giving me the strength I've been without C I work hard not to fall G Cause it's a long way down C And I owe it to my family G Keep my feet on the ground Am C It's in the sunshine, I feel the sunshine G It's shining down on me C G Oh shining down on me Am C It's in the sunshine, I feel the sunshine G It's shining down on me

This dude is super tall like 6'7 or taller! I was working in Orange Beach, AL this summer at a restaurant and they would play on certain days. Usually, the crowd would come in for him but sometimes it would be very slow, to where it would just be me, the bartender, and the band in a small dining room. An amazing moment to hear them play so close.

The plight of men goes so unnoticed today and this song is just so honest, so vulnerable and so powerful. Not just to me, and our family- but to hundreds of men and women and young men and young women who he taught the principle of Hard Work- and Paying Attention- Losing him did not break my heart, it shifted my Soul- Every word and verse of This song literally resonates with me and has helped heal and re-align my Soul- Thank you Red Clay Strays and God for that! Western AF is really on to something..... capturing something that is timeless in modern day artists that are becoming relevant as we search for something more authentic. I first heard these boys at the Flora Bama when they were just starting out. Brandon's voice was a cross between buddy holly and johnny cash. They were young new and living life in the fast lane but had a ways to go to making it big and finding their niche. Unfortunately, life hit them hard and they lost a band member and lifelong childhood friend. It was noticeable in their songs and demeanor on stage. They were heart broken and filled with grief and confusion. The band then took a long look in the mirror and decided to walk in their faith and go on. That's when they found God and produced, ON THEIR OWN mind you, The Moment of Truth Album. Their first, their debut album. It rose to the top 10 downloads on sportify in a few short weeks. The Red Clay Strays are an Amazing band of Men that touch your soul and lift you up when you hear them. They play and sing from the heart every time they perform! Each time they get better and better. Their song writing is becoming prenominal and are well on their way to the CMA stage! I love these guys, their songs, their story and their perseverance to survive! Thanks for spreading the word.

I saw the red clay strays recently. They played like… 30 songs and every single one was as if they put every bit of their heart into it. They are truly an absolutely amazing group. Probably one of the greatest of all time honestly. May the Lord our God bless them with everything they do.

I was really down in the dumps, my cat of seven years suddenly died. Then this song came on, and it really changed everything. The haunting piano, the raw emotion of his voice, the authenticity of his delivery. It all made me realize something.... I never owned a cat... I have no idea what made me think I owned a cat. I feel so much better. That's the power of this song....
