If you ever have had the pleasure to sit and talk with Jason Dea West, you're a lucky duck. Jason came out to Wyoming last summer to meet and converse with us. I am usually taken back when an artist has been to my home town of Wyoming. Jason already had a rich history in this state before I could even call it my home. To share a connection like that in this rare. This town usually passes most people by, but it's the people that wander or stick around who get what this place. Enough Wyoming love.
We consider ourselves pretty lucky to get these private concerts from artists. Jason's songwriting and voice speak volumes on a lost American connection. A ghostly and powerful voice that says so much about our identity and it's a pleasure to hear Jason invoke that.

One of those artists that just gets better and better and better, the more you listen. He does not have the immediate appeal of say Colter Wall or Sierra Ferrell, or even Nick Shoulders, but I'd say he is leading the pack. His voice, the lyrics, the guitar. Sparse, minimalistic and full of heart and soul, a true reflection of a life lived and not just survived.
